Lost Relics of the Knights Templar
Carl first came to our TV screens on Sky HISTORY in 'Lost Relics of the Knights Templar' where he starred with collector Hamilton White. The series followed the story of their incredible Knights Templar treasure hoard, accompanied by historian Dan Jones.
The relics were truly ground-breaking, and included a black obsidian chalice, a Templar sword, an alabaster libation vessel and an iron reliquary box.
The show got fantastic audience ratings and soon a second series was to follow.
'Lost Relic Hunters' was the hit second series, following Carl and Hamilton as they traced the origins of a collection of rare artifacts, from incredible Celtic gold to disturbing Nazi relics.
This time, joined in their adventures by cultural and art historian Dr Janina Ramirez, the team visit Venice, Istanbul, Barcelona, Jerusalem and the Pyrenees, in a quest to authenticate their rare and precious antiquities.
